Keeping students fed!

There have been many members of staff making valuable contributions to the support effort for our students in these challenging times, but one in particular deserves a special mention, Catering Manager Bernie Drakeford.

Since the lockdown, Bernie has continued to go into school to prepare food for limited staff and students from both HWS and the primary school; she also stepped in to provide lunch for Linden Bridge Special School when their catering team became ill.

To top it all, she also co-ordinated the ordering and collating of up of 60 food packages for students from both the senior and primary school in receipt of free school meals.

BIG THANKS to Bernie for all her hard work.
