This afternoon we have met our exchange partners again, met the mayor, been on the roof of the town hall to look at the City, had our photo taken for the local paper and now the partners have collected our students to go back to their families. Lessons at 7.45 tomorrow morning!

SEN Provision

Hinchley Wood School is a mainstream, inclusive school which looks to meet the needs of all learners regardless of their Additional Learning Needs.  Our staff work hard to ensure that our approach to teaching and learning is of high quality and personalised to meet the individual needs of all of our students with additional support provided for those who need it.

Teachers have a learning profile for each student with additional needs.  There is a clear expectation that all teachers have the highest expectations for all students and differentiate the curriculum to meet individual needs.  We value and respect diversity in our setting and do our best to meet the needs of all our learners; regular reviews are carried out to ensure students are making progress and action taken if issues have arisen.
