Yesterday we finally got to play last year’s Y7 County Cup Final.  Our team put in a fantastic performance, beating a strong Howard of Effingham side with 5 overs to spare.  Special shoutout to Dylan  who was named Man of the Match by the umpires! Well done to all the players!

Wishing the HWLP Paddlers lots of luck in the Kingston Dragon Boat Race on Sunday. What they lack in experience, they more than make up for in enthusiasm! 😀

Choices After Year 11

HWS provides a wide ranging programme to support and help students plan their education route after Year 11.

In school this includes a number of activities and events designed to develop relevant skills plus opportunities to meet potential employers and education providers.  Resources and information are also available via the school’s intranet system, FROG (Subjects - Careers). Students (and parents) also have access to a dedicated adviser:

Alex Elbourn - Elmbridge Consortium Careers Adviser aelbourn@hinchleywoodschool.co.uk

Guidance is provided for careers, further education courses, colleges and apprenticeships, together with discussions about university and employment. Individual guidance interviews are offered to Year 10 students in the summer term and Year 11 students in the autumn term.

Parents can find more detailed information regarding Post 16 Choices in the document links below.
