Another record-breaking year for A Level Results

Sixth Form students, staff and parents/carers are delighted to be celebrating another superb set of A Level results with new records set across the board. This year’s A Level results are once again outstanding with 100% pass rate including 34% of all grades achieved at A/A*, 68% A*-B and 91%  A*-C – the last two results setting new school records!

Some exceptional results include Laura Harmer and Sophie Chung who both received A* Grades in all their A Level subjects; Laura is off to read Medicine at Cambridge and Sophie will be reading Dentistry at Kings College, London.  Helen Youssef will be reading Mathematics at Oxford after achieving two A* grades and an A grade. 47 students achieved three or more A*-B Grades and at the time of writing, 95% of students have achieved the grades needed to secure their chosen university.

We are very pleased with these outcomes, which are so deserved given the hard work and determination shown by this cohort; there are simply too many notable individual achievements to mention here!  Staff thoroughly enjoyed congratulating the students in person this morning.  We are particularly thrilled for those students who have overcome adversity and shown both tenacity and resilience in their attitudes to learning over the past two years which has resulted in their outstanding results.

Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding achievements this summer and we wish them well as they head off to the next stage of their exciting future.
