PRE visit: well done to Y10 who have been a delight to travel with this weekend. They have worked hard, listened, learnt and seen for themselves evidence of horrific human acts. And now to bed!

EXTREME READING . . . under water winner!

Joe Christmas, Year 8, is the very worth winner of the Extreme Reading challenge!

English teacher Miss Greene and the English department recently set the students and staff of Hinchley Wood a challenge - to be photographed reading in EXTREME situations.

There have been some interesting entries ranging from sitting in a 'room' built of books and laying in a bed of cardboard boxes, to reading to a goat and standing in the snow....on skis!

All great ideas to promote the pleasure of reading!
