Hinchley Wood School once again opened its doors to welcome Year 6 students and their families for our annual Open Evening. We were delighted to host over 800 visitors, all eager to discover what life at Hinchley Wood School has to offer.
The evening began with a warm welcome from our Headteachers, followed by inspiring talks from current students who shared their experiences and achievements.
Families enjoyed self-guided tours around our vibrant departments, where they could observe exciting experiments, take part in interactive demonstrations, and chat with our enthusiastic students. There was plenty of fun along the way — from a treasure hunt and a chance to sample school lunches, to an adventurous “I’m a Celebrity” style bush tucker trial in our Geography department.
We are thrilled with the wonderful feedback we have received and would like to thank all the students, staff and everyone who attended the evening for making it such a success.
