Year 12 Mock Exams
Year 12 students will sit internal exams in June/July 2026.
The exams will be run under formal exam conditions. Students must bring in the correct equipment for each subject in a clear pencil case or plastic bag. Black ballpoint pens must be used in all formal exams, students should have at least two black pens with them. Water bottles are allowed but must not have labels or writing on them and should be clear. No food is allowed in exam rooms.
Students must not have a mobile phone or a wristwatch (digital or analogue), whether switched on or off, or any headphones / earpods in their possession in an exam room. Any phones or electronic devices found on a student in an exam room will result in that paper being cancelled.
A document outlining how to effectively use exam access arrangements to maximise exam performance can also be downloaded below.
On the document below, you can download details of the exam boards for each subject, which you may find useful if you are purchasing revision guides. Further subject information can be found on the exam board websites.
GCSE Re-sit Exams
We run GCSE Re-sit exams for English Language and Maths in November. The re-sit series offers students the opportunity to retake their English Language and/or Mathematics GCSE exams. These re-sits are designed to help students improve their grades without having to wait until the next summer exam series and is also open to students who wish to improve their grade, even if they have already passed.
Please be aware that any application for a GCSE English Language or GCSE Mathematics re-sit where you are looking to improve on your grade, does not include timetabled revision sessions or the option to re-do the English Spoken Language endorsement in the Autumn Term. These marks will be carried forward from the summer results.
