Parent Partnership Policy
At the end of 2025, we updated our Parent Partnership Policy which you will find below.
Over the course of the last 12 months, we have reviewed the old Parent ‘Codes of Conduct’ and with the help of teachers, parents/carers, Local Governors and Trustees, we have produced an updated HWLP Parent Partnership Policy.
In creating this new Trust-wide approach to working in partnership with parents/carers we have enlisted the help of the UK’s biggest parent charity ‘Parentkind’. We will be working alongside them over the course of this new year as we recognise how important it is to have positive parent-school partnerships both for the wellbeing and academic progress of our children.
Our recent Trust INSET day in November 2025 was dedicated to this topic and the whole staff body was involved in looking at strategies to further support communication and relationships.
