It was back to the River Tillingbourne in Dorking for another group of Year 11 Geographers. Students investigated downstream changes as part of their compulsory fieldwork. Following a classroom session, the students were itching to get stuck into a day of data collection in the river. The students worked well in their groups, and thoroughly enjoyed what the river had to offer (including a crayfish which caused a lot of amusement for some). It was a successful day and even the rain stayed away. Results will now be analysed and evaluated back in the classroom, to support preparation for their exams.
