On Sunday 9 November, students from here and Hinchley Wood Primary School took part in the annual Remembrance Service at Hinchley Wood Memorial Gardens. The event brought together members of the local community to reflect and pay tribute to those who have served and made sacrifices in times of conflict.
Our students made thoughtful and meaningful contributions throughout the service; they delivered readings, sang beautifully as part of the choir, and performed in a small orchestra accompanying the hymns and God Save the King. The service also featured a moving performance of The Last Post by Robin H in Year 9, followed by a two-minute silence.
We are incredibly proud of all the students involved. Their commitment, sensitivity, and exemplary conduct reflected the values of remembrance, respect, and community that we strive to uphold through our school values. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who helped make this important occasion a success.
