Help With Something

This was originally set up to enable our students to stay in contact with staff in school while schools were having to teach remotely. However, with the lifting of restrictions, life is moving forward and may not be quite the same as before. Covid has touched all of our lives with isolation, loss, change and many other emotions on a daily basis.  Students, therefore, may need to access extra help and might not know who best to ask. If you are a student at HWS and would like help from a member of staff at school, please complete the form at the bottom of this page and someone will contact you asap during term time.

Mindworks Surrey https://www.mindworks-surrey.org/ is a new children and young person’s mental health and wellbeing service from Surrey. This can be accessed by students and/or parents carers who need help with mental wellbeing.

Childline - provides advice if you are worried about being back at school or finding home life tough going; they also provide calming activities if you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious.

The Mix https://www.themix.org.uk/ is essential support for under 25s. Whether you’re 13, 25, or any age in between, we’re here to take on the embarrassing problems, weird questions, and please-don’t-make-me-say-it-out-loud thoughts you have. We give you the information and support you need to deal with it all……We’ll connect you to experts and your peers who’ll give you the support and tools you need to take on any challenge you’re facing – for everything from homelessness to finding a job, from money to mental health, from break-ups to drugs.
