Help With Something

We acknowledge that at any time students may need to access extra help and might not know who best to ask. If you are a student at HWS and would like help from a member of staff at school, please complete the form at the bottom of this page and someone will contact you ASAP during term time.

Or, if you prefer, in school we also have a Help With Something box located on the wall just along from Student Reception near the Safeguarding offices.  You can fill out a request card, put it in the box and someone will get back to you ASAP.

Mindworks Surrey (https://www.mindworks-surrey.org/) is the children and young person’s mental health and wellbeing service from Surrey. This can be accessed by students and/or parents carers who need help with mental wellbeing.

Childline (Tel: 0800 1111,  Web address:  https://www.childline.org.uk/) is a free, confidential service where you can talk about anything, whether it’s something big or small, and trained counsellors are there to support you.

The Mix  (https://www.themix.org.uk/) is essential support for under 25s. Whether you’re 13, 25, or any age in between, The Mix can help you with embarrassing problems, weird questions, and please-don’t-make-me-say-it-out-loud thoughts you may have. They can give you the information and support you need to deal with it all……They can connect you to experts and your peers who’ll give you the support and tools you need to take on any challenge you’re facing – for everything from homelessness to finding a job, from money to mental health, from break-ups to drugs.
