Yesterday we finally got to play last year’s Y7 County Cup Final.  Our team put in a fantastic performance, beating a strong Howard of Effingham side with 5 overs to spare.  Special shoutout to Dylan  who was named Man of the Match by the umpires! Well done to all the players!

Record breaking GCSE Results - 51% of all grades are Grade 7 and above (23% nationally). 33% of all grades are Grade 8 or 9. 234 grade 9s and 12 9-9 grades in Combined Science. 88% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs including English and Maths. 92% of grades are at G4 or above.

This week our STEM Explorers showcased some some incredible experiments, including: building a 24-hour analogue clock, designing a hoverboard & studying bacteria under UV radiation. Students proudly presented their findings on posters to students and staff.

Year 12 Corporate Breakfast: Inspiring Careers

Year 12 students had the opportunity to engage with six professionals from diverse industries. Representatives from fields such as law, marketing, technology, and film and television shared their career journeys, offering students valuable insights into various professions.

Students asked thoughtful questions, gaining practical advice on navigating career decisions and learning about the importance of adaptability and perseverance. The panel broadened their understanding of potential opportunities and left them inspired to explore their own futures.

A big thank you to the parents/carers who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event a success! If there are any other parents/carers who might be interested in participating in future panels, we would be delighted to hear from you.
