Posted on: 17/03/2026The Fabulous, Fantastic & Freaky Fright Night!
What a night it was! An exceptional evening of musical theatre, featuring outstanding performances from the Musical Theatre Club, Year 7 Musical Theatre Club, and all brought together by the Backstage Club. Over 75 students were involved in this incredible production.
The musical Fright Night explored the night two teenage boys, Luke and Marcus, came to terms with what had happened after their parents, Bridget and Barry (along with an all-American street full of neighbours) drank a magical punch created by Agatha the Witch and her cat Salem and they all became zombies for the evening!
In their altered state, we saw this group of neighbours and friends encounter a disco ball that came to life to save the day, alongside a sparklingly fabulous social media guru. Together, they attempted to rescue Roger, who had become a werewolf, and stop the clash between the zombie cheerleaders and a troupe of ‘Kate Bush’ doppelgänger witches.
All of this bizarre yet wondrous action was punctuated by exhilarating renditions of Thriller, The Time Warp, Transylvania Mania, and many more.
We are so proud of Year 12 student, Beau C's, incredible script and of all the students who worked with such commitment and energy to make this truly a night to remember!
