On 12th May, we were proud to celebrate a major milestone — 10 years of the NAS Cullum Centre at HWS. As one of the first three Cullum Centres established in Surrey, it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on a decade of support, achievement, and community.
The afternoon brought together special guests from the National Autistic Society, the Cullum family, and fellow Heads of Cullum Centres from across the South East. Visitors spent time meeting our students and seeing the Centre in action during a relaxed homework session — a genuine glimpse into the care, encouragement, and confidence-building that happens every day in Cullum.
One of the highlights of the celebration was a fantastic musical performance from Sonos alongside one of our own Cullum Centre students, who wowed staff and guests with three songs. The event also featured inspiring speeches from Ben Bartlett (HWLP CEO), Nikki Kennedy from the National Autistic Society, and Peter Cullum, all recognising the incredible impact of the Centre over the past decade.
It was a joyful and uplifting afternoon, celebrating not only 10 years of the Cullum Centre, including the remarkable students, dedicated staff, and supportive community at the heart of it all.
