33 students from HWS have had their poems selected for publication in the official competition book of the national poetry competition, 'I Have a Dream'.  The overall winners are yet to be announced and the book of successful entries will be published in March 2026.

9JB held a brilliant bake sale at break on 12th December to fund the Year 9 Senior Tea Party we’re hosting in February. All proceeds will help us welcome senior citizens from Hinchley Wood for an afternoon of tea, treats and company. They raised an incredible £135.20! 🌟

Year 11 Final Assembly and Prom Time!

On Thursday 25th June, we came together to celebrate the journey of our Year 11 students during a joyful and emotional Leavers' Assembly, attended by students and many proud parents and carers.

The morning was filled with cherished memories as we reflected on school trips, memorable events, and the countless shared experiences that have shaped this exceptional year group throughout their time with us. Year 11 tutors shared heartfelt reflections, celebrating the resilience, growth, and character of their tutor groups, while the students responded with warmth, humour, and sincere appreciation.

We spoke with immense pride about the year group, recognising not only their achievements but also the determination, kindness, and maturity they have demonstrated throughout their school journey. It was a fitting tribute to our 'Team Green' cohort, and we wish each and every one of our Year 11 students every success and happiness as they begin the next exciting chapter of their lives.
