Our GCSE Art students enjoyed an inspiring day at Kew Gardens, where they had the opportunity to get up close to an incredible variety of exotic plants and explore the beautiful surroundings.
Students spent the day creating continuous-line drawings from direct observation, capturing the shapes, forms and intricate details of the plants around them. It was a great opportunity to take their artwork beyond the classroom and draw inspiration directly from nature.
The students exemplary conduct throughout the visit was a real credit to them. They did an amazing job of representing the school with their maturity and enthusiasm making the day a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone.
