Our Year 9 and 10 Spanish students embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Barcelona this February, immersing themselves in the vibrant culture, rich history, and stunning sights of the city. From exploring iconic landmarks to discovering the stories of the local area, the trip was packed with exciting experiences. A particular highlight for the students was spending the weekend with their Spanish exchange partners and their families—an incredible opportunity to develop language skills and build meaningful connections.
In March, we were delighted to return the experience by welcoming the students from Barcelona to the UK. Their visit included memorable trips to central London and Kingston, alongside a weekend spent with their host families. It was wonderful to see friendships flourish, and we are especially pleased to hear that many students are eager to stay in touch.
We hope these connections continue to grow, and that this enriching exchange inspires lasting friendships and a lifelong love of language and culture.
