We are fortunate to run an annual ski trip, and each year we come back feeling it has been the best yet—however, this year truly stands out!
Our Year 9 students were exceptional from start to finish. Their behaviour was exemplary, their attitude towards skiing was outstanding, and their positivity and enthusiasm throughout the trip were unparalleled. Each day, students challenged themselves on the mountain, building confidence from their individual starting points. By the end of the week, many were celebrating jumps, tackling longer runs, and even exploring off-piste terrain.
Conditions varied across the week. At times, visibility was limited, adding an extra challenge, but the snow itself was excellent. Skiing at Easter can be unpredictable; however, this was one of the coldest trips we have experienced in recent years, providing some of the best snow conditions we have had in a long time.
Finally, the staff were also fantastic—although perhaps slightly more accident-prone than the students! They were full of praise for the group, and it was a pleasure to see such a positive atmosphere throughout the trip.
Overall, we could not be more pleased or more grateful to the school community for making the trip such a success. We are already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
